Kaanapali Ocean Adventures

We did the half day snorkel trip to Lanai with dolphin search out of Kaanapali Bay through viator. It is about an hour trip to the island. You snorkel for about an hour in the first spot, then move to a second location for about another hour. Then an hour trip back. The first spot had many tropical fish to see. Some of the guests saw a sea turtle as well. Second spot was good as well but I got a little seasick so make sure to take dramamine. On the way back, we saw a pod of about 50 spinner dolphins. Captain Dan was very experienced and helpful. His first mate Kono was very helpful and friendly and socialized with us a lot. They helped me feel better when I got sick as well. They had drinks and fruits and breads to snack on as well. The snorkeling equipment was in very good condition. Overall it was an outstanding experience even with getting seasick. I brought an underwater camera for some great pictures of the fish.

went out to snorkel at lanai with a sea scooter and it was a game changer don’t know how i can go back snorkeling without one . captain dan and marisa were. amazing the whole trip . would go again without question worth every penny

Excellent snorkeling tour with Captain Dan and Marissa!! Great communication the day before letting us know where to meet up on the beach and easy check in process. As soon as we departed for the tour we were severed a continental style breakfast. We stopped at two snorkeling spots and saw a ton of fish. The second spot Fish Rock was super cool too! Heading to the second spot we were met with a large pod of about 50 spinner dolphins. We stopped to watch the jump and play all around us. On the ride back to the drop off point we saw a baby Humpback spout a few times as he was learning to breach. Then as we got closer to our return a HUGE whale breached. We waited a few but it never came up again. This was an excellent unexpected bonus to our already great experience. Would do again for sure!

We had a great snorkeling and whale watching trip to Lana'i with Kaanapali Ocean Adventures, what a way to ring in New Years Day! Went to 2 different spots off the coast of Lana'i for snorkeling, lots of fish to see. Captain Dan and crew did a great job of making sure everyone was safe and had a great time. On the way back to Kaanapali we were fortunate to see humpback whales jumping out of the water and playing right next to us. I counted 13 times I was able to capture it on video jumping out of the water! Such a memorable trip made special by the experience and knowledge of the crew. Mahalo!
