Peacock Nails @ Chula Vista

I’m really disappointed in today’s service. This was my favorite spot for a while, but I don’t think I will return for manicures. My pedicure was amazing by Jenni However I got a manicure by a different nail tech & I told her that I wanted them as short as possible to prevent them from breaking. She told me that my nail beds are too long to make them short? (I’ve never had this happen to me). But I told her to please just round them out and reiterated the length I wanted. She proceeded to file them down shorter than my nail bed! Whenever I tell techs to file them as short as possible they acknowledge my nail bed is longer and can’t be filed down past that. So now I’m left with my nail beds showing, my nails hurt and feel sensitive and they just don’t look good at all :( i also wanted to mention that she never walked me through the process, she didn’t ask me what shape I wanted, she didn’t ask me if the color was good before she proceeded. The cuticle work is terrible and I can tell they will lift in a week or so.

Absolutely love Peacock Nails! Rosa is AMAZING 🤍 She always does a beautiful, detailed job and never disappoints. This time I got black and silver cat eye with chrome #9 on top and it came out 🔥✨ so clean, shiny, and exactly what I wanted. Rosa really takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect. First time client, I will be back!!! Leo was absolutely amazing. He so detailed and careful about each placement. He was so sweet and did my 21st bday nail set! Loved the place and the Vietnamese coffee was bomb! Thank you Leo again!!

Tracy took the time to clean and file my nails and gave me a really nice manicure. I originally went in for gel, but I had some old gel buildup with moisture underneath, and she let me know there was a risk of fungus if we continued. I really appreciated her honesty and how she explained how to properly take care of my nails. We’re taking a little break to let them breathe. Tracy is so kind — I’ll definitely be back.

This was my first time here and I am impressed with how friendly everyone is. Christine did a great job with my pedicure! She knows how to handle your feet with great care. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a good nail salon.
